Please note that this a virtual training and will take place over four consecutive Tuesdays from 6:00PM – 8:00PM via Zoom. Participants will need to attend all sessions to receive a certificate of completion.

- Tuesday, November 12: Budget and credit scores
- Tuesday, November 19: Shopping for a home
- Tuesday, November 26: Getting the deal done – the closing process
For those interested in purchasing a home through our Home Sweet Homan Homeownership Initiative – completing a homebuyer training course is one of the requirements to receive subsidies from our program. Whether you’re ready to buy today, or want to make a plan to buy, completing this training (or a similar HUD-certified training) is the first step to set you up for success. Our skilled partners at NHS will help you access the resources, partners, and tools you need to make the biggest investment of your life – your home!
